Instructor: Gayle Ye

Gayle Ye’s interest in filmmaking was sparked from her embarrassing days of creating lip synced music videos shot on her webcam and then thrown together in Windows Movie Maker. Today she is an award-winning filmmaker whose work has been screened internationally at the Cannes Short Film Festival, Toronto International Short Film Festival and Canadian Diversity Film Festival. Her work has been described as “ethereal and powerful”. She is currently based in Toronto and is set to DP a variety of projects ranging from narratives, documentaries and multi-disciplinary projects.
