Introduction to DaVinci Resolve

DaVinci Resolve is the world’s leading color-grading software. This introductory course will look at the basic interface covering initial importing/conforming, raw colour grading, and final exports for your favourite non-linear editing software. The course will use the RED 5K RAW workflow.

Instructor: Chris Laxton

 Chris Laxton is an filmmaker from Toronto. Having worked on guerrilla style productions, as well as nationally broadcast commercials, Chris values a DIY ethic to filmmaking. A graduate of OCADs Integrated Media program in 2012, Chris has since directed a plethora of music videos, and several short films produced by a collective he co-founded with fellow CSV members and OCAD alumni called Dynasty Artists, some of which have garnered attention from various media outlets.
