How to Pitch a TV Show

Learn the basics, from what documents to prep and how to properly pitch
so that your show stands amidst the noise. We’ll chat about different scenarios,
partnerships, producers and look behind the mystery that is getting a show made.

Instructor: Kara Harun

Kara is a two-time Canadian Screen Award nominee for her work as a writer, producer and host for
TVOKids, The Space. Kara has written for children’s shows such as Dino Dana
(Sinking Ship/TVO), Glowbies (CBC), It’s My Party (Bristow Global Media/TVO),
and Fishheads(TVO). Kara is also a talented singer/songwriter. She has been on the first season
of many of these shows, aiding in the development scripts as well.
