Playformance

with Maziar Ghaderi

Thu 2 March 2017
6 - 9 pm

Explore how the body and the imaginative can be expressed through new media and innovative performance art. How can conversations of the digital age: power and social consciousness, spirituality and the human condition, surrealism and the fantastical, be communicated through the latest creative innovations? Playformance: get excited for wearables, motion capture, projection mapping, generative art and cultural intangibles. Visit maziart.ca to learn more.

After the talk, Maziar will conduct a live demo of Isadora’s projection mapping workflow, including a run-through of the basic functionality of this node-based, interactive media presentation tool.
