CSV MakerSpace Project Residency

Call for Proposals

CSV welcomes artists, collectives and curators interested in promoting dialogue and experimentation via media arts through the use of our gallery space.

The Maker Space program is intended as an open-door opportunity to engage and expand their artistic prowess with our physical location and presentation equipment. This program has previously been used to workshop or incubate projects, or launch new installations or group exhibits. Applications will be considered on an on-going basis.

Preference will be given to projects that work in and animate our space, such as exhibitions, activations, events, performances, etc. Artists/Collectives from traditionally marginalized groups are encouraged  to apply. If you have questions or would like to discuss a project idea please email programming@charlesstreetvideo.com.

Note: CSV's MakerSpace program supports projects that propose to use our programming space and presentation-equipment resources. It is not intended for media artists seeking to use our production equipment to create a video/ film. Our annual Media Arts Creation Grant is intended to support media art productions.CSV welcomes artists, collectives and curators interested in promoting dialogue and experimentation about media art through the use of our gallery space.
