How to make a film during the plague!

Are you interested in learning how to make a short film from home during COVID19?

With Charles Street Video, we are excited to announce the launch of "How to make a film during the plague", a special DIY workshop series taught by Syrian Director & Writer Marcelle Aleid that will start on June 8th. Over 4 workshops, the program will enable 5 youth between the ages of 12-24 years to learn how to make a short film using only their phones and things they have at home. The mini-films youth create will then be shown in an online screening.

This is a great opportunity to get creative while stuck at home and to learn from an award-winning Director. It's also experience you can put on your resume.

If you are interested in applying to this program, please complete this short application form:

Upon receiving your application, we will contact you on Tuesday, June 2nd to schedule an interview between June 3-5, 2020.
