Discuss the intricacies of developing experimental documentary films with Sharlene Bamboat; a moving image and installation artist, whose work often engages with translation, history and music, uncovering sensory and fractured ways of knowing.
In this session, participants will learn of the use of mixed digital mediums to effectively convey story and emotion by thinking outside the confines of a singular narrative or framing device. This involves a consideration of sound, images, and colour; anything which pertains to the moving image. In this workshop Sharlene will be sharing her works, followed by a discussion where participants are invited to share their own projects, at any stage of production.
*note: attendees must come with an idea or project to share in the class.
