VIDEO PROJECTION WORKSHOP with MadMapper. Learn how to navigate the application and create precise video mappings on objects, walls and site-specific architecture. You will gain skills with MadMapper 5 (https://madmapper.com/), which includes drawing masks, warping meshes, using live MIDI & OSC data to control your performance or workflow, how to stream video textures from other applications on your computer using Spout/Syphon or NDI, 3D model calibration and performance set up using cueing system. With these skills, you will be able to create a site-specific video mapping for exhibition shows or live performances. The workshop consists of two parts. In the second follow-up session, we will learn how to use the MiniMad media player and create a pop-up show/exhibition with workshop participants in CSV gallery space.
