Instructor: Jenny JayJenny Jay is a multimedia storyteller: her work primarily focuses on her abilities as a photographer and a documentary filmmaker. Her debut film, ‘hyphen-nation,’ has since won the Excellence in Student Journalism from the Canadian Association of Undergraduate Teachers, and is a part of the official selection of multiple film festivals across North America.
Jenny began touring with a production company at the age of 17, learning the ways of factual event capturing. Over the next six years, this knowledge developed into a passion for photography that gave her access to covering multiple concerts, a pre-election Trump Rally, and working with different organizations and institutions for event coverage and documentary work across Canada. She now continues working on projects with other organizations while also growing her business, The Double Jay Collective.
