Budget and Producing for Indie Film

Tue 19 February 2019
6:00pm - 9:00pm

Learn how to make a tiny budget shine. Many incredible films, shorts, and music videos get made on a shoestring budget - but if you know where to spend, what to avoid, and how to ask, you will have people wondering how you made it happen.

You will learn:
- basics of film budgeting
- above-the-line and below-the-line costs
- how to stay organized
- how to build a budget that works for each individual project
- how to track and manage expenses
- tools that are free and easy to use
- tricks and resources available to you

This course is not about government grants or a single specific budget framework (telefilm etc) - it's about taking the small amount of money you have and making it work.
