In this workshop, participants will be shown key ways that sound artists who rely on field recordings integrate them into their practice. She will also highlight some examples of ways Stefana has integrated field recordings into her own work. Participants will spend a portion of the workshop learning how to use a field recorder and then going out together as a group in order to collect field recordings in the neighbourhood, in hopes that participants might hear the world around them a little bit differently and perhaps integrate field recordings into their own work in the future.
